Making beef ribs in the Instant Pot has been one of our favorite discoveries since purchasing our Instant Pot. Not only do they melt in your mouth, but they are easy to make and that makes them a great dinner idea for a busy night.
When it comes to our favorite beef recipes in the Instant Pot, it’s a toss-up between this one and Easy Instant Pot Beef Tips. You just can’t go wrong with how tender and full of flavor this beef is!
We like to shred this beef and eat it drizzled with barbecue sauce. But you can broil it in the oven for a couple of minutes to crisp it up more if you like.
Because these country-style ribs are made in a pressure cooker, this saves tons of time, and they are the most tender ribs I’ve ever had! Another advantage is that I can throw just a few ingredients in and hit a button! My hands are free to do whatever else needs tending to instead of standing over a stove, Did I mention how much I love this thing?
But I should also mention that when I got my Instant Pot as a gift, I left it in the box for a year! Now, I can’t imagine cooking without it.

1 cup beef broth
1 cup barbecue sauce
1-2 TBSP rib rub seasoning
Place the trivet inside the container of the Instant Pot
Pour beef broth in the pot
Remove ribs from package and sprinkle rib rub on both sides of the ribs
Place ribs in the Instant Pot in the trivet
Pour barbecue sauce on the ribs and use a basting brush to spread it evenly
Cook on high temperature for 45 minutes on the manual setting
Natural release the pressure for about 15 to 20 minutes
Remove the ribs from the pot and add more barbecue sauce if desired
Optional step - you can broil the ribs in the oven for about 3 minutes to crisp them up and brown them a little
