The Best Easy Chili Recipe

I am so excited about finding the best easy chili recipe!

My sister-in-law made this for us and it was the best, flavorful chili and I loved it!  I texted her a few days later to ask how to make it.  To my surprise she sent me a picture of two cans.  That was it!

Now if you’ve been following me, you know that I am all about easy recipes that can be whipped up on a busy night.

This chili recipe will be on repeat at our house!

When you can brown hamburger meat (or in our case venison) and onion, and then add two cans to a pot and get the flavor of this chili, you will be SO excited!  This is the recipe she got from the back of a can and it is SO good!

What is the best secret ingredient for chili?

In my opinion, it is…Bush’s Chili Magic Chili Starter! We think they nailed it on flavor.  Just follow the recipe on the back of the can.  It’s that easy!

What can you serve with this chili?

You serve it with Fritos and make Frito pie.

This is my personal favorite.  I put Fritos in a bowl and then add chili.  Next, top with cheese, sour cream, and chopped green onions.  My favorite!

You can serve it with cornbread.

My mom always makes homemade cornbread and it’s so good!  But can I tell you a little secret?  We love Jiffy cornbread!  It’s seriously the cheapest mix and whips up in a snap.

You can serve it with biscuits.

Oh this might be a close second for me.  There is just something so good about a hot, buttered biscuit.  Adding it to chili takes it to a whole other level!  My favorite ready-made biscuits are Mary’s buttermilk biscuits and you can find them in the frozen section of your grocery store.

How to cook this 4 ingredient chili recipe:
  1. Brown the ground beef and onion
  2. Drain the excess fat off the meat
  3. Add a can of diced tomatoes with green chilis
  4. Add a can of Bush’s Chili Magic Chili Starter
  5. Cover and simmer until thoroughly heated

This is all done on the stove and I use my dutch oven.  My sister-in-law put hers in a crockpot after it was cooked to keep it warm and it was perfect!

We love this easy chili recipe so much that I ordered a whole case of the chili starter!  I want to be ready for chili at a moment’s notice.  You can find this recipe on the back of the Bush’s Chili Magic Chili Starter can. The only thing I add to it is sometimes I season the meat while it is cooking with some garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

This is by far the easiest and best chili recipe that I have found.  I give it 5 stars! If you end up making this, let me know how you like it!

Enjoy!
